Action: the fact or process of doing something, typically to achieve an aim.

Action keeps us moving forward. Action helps us make progress. Action gives us a sense accomplishment. And yet, it's easy to put action on hold.

Many people can easily become overwhelmed by tasks or goals. Our brains become tired just thinking about the work ahead of us.

Cleaning out the closet, starting a new exercise regime, finishing that work feels like so much effort.

Stop being overwhelmed and start taking action TODAY with these 3 simple steps:

1. Start small. Focusing on small steps taken over time can and will achieve BIG results. Instead of cleaning the entire closet today, pick one shelf or drawer.

2. Set a short time limit and stick to it. Research has shown that limiting action to as little as 2-5 minutes a day can make it easier to repeat the next time.

3. Find a thought that makes you feel motivated. For example, "I can do anything for 20 minutes" might just give you the boost you need to get started.

Taking just a little action every day will bring you one step closer to the life you desire.
