Difficult Roads Lead to Beautiful Destinations.

There have been six times in my life where I thought the road was too hard.

Each circumstance was challenging in its own way. Some lasted just weeks. Others months. The worst...years. But I got through it, a stronger person on the other side.

When you have a tough road ahead of you remember that life is working for you, not of against you. Actively look for what you are learning through this challenging time.

Deliberately deciding you are going to get through it, not matter what, will help you find perseverance; this is usually uncomfortable, but necessary to get through to better times.

If you are weathering you a storm here are somethings to consider:

How do you want to show up during this time? Deciding on purpose how you want to go through your experience will help you when things get tough.

What are you learning about yourself right now?  What challenges you changes you. Most of us are much stronger than we ever realized.

What positive things are happening as a result of what’s happening?  Many people discount the small things that aren't actually so small. Give equal "air time" to the good stuff, no matter how insignificant it feels.

Write down WHY you want to get through this at all….it will help give you the stamina to withstand the storm.

Last, but not least, remember: "This too shall pass."
